John Franklin Mount, 76, of  East Ridge, died Sunday in a local hospital.  He was retired from the City of Chattanooga after 36 years of service.

He was preceded in death by a brother:  Archie Hall, and two sisters:  Carolyn Cach and Juanita Herrod.  He is  survived by his wife of 45 years:  Nancy;  an adopted brother:  Jimmy Gunter, Punta Gorda, Florida, and two sisters:  Mary Jo Jenkins and Marie Templeton, both of East Ridge.

Private Funeral Services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements by Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
