Sandra Pinkerton Eaves, 67, passed away at a local hospital March 27, 2017 after a lengthy illness. Sandra was born in Chattanooga, TN July 6, 1949. A graduate (1967) of Chattanooga High School and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (1971), she retired as a devoted educator in Walker County, GA after 35 years of service and had many happy memories of her students and co-workers. Sandra was a member of Crosspath Church in East Ridge, TN.

Sandra is preceded in death by her father, Edward E. Pinkerton. She is survived by her mother, Mary Barnes Pinkerton of East Ridge, TN, son, David E. (Theresa) Eaves of Rossville, GA, brother, James “Ed” Pinkerton (Elaine) of Acworth, GA, sister, Janet Pinkerton O’Grady of Apollo Beach, FL, aunt, Sarah Barnes Steele of East Ridge, TN, beloved grandchildren, David “D.J.” Eaves and Shannon Eaves, both of Rossville, GA, many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Services will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. William Jacques officiating.
