Ronald “Ron” Bernard Mullis, 76, of Rossville went home to be with the Lord Sunday, October 2, 2016.  Ron was a native of Walker County and was a son of the late James Franklin and Betty Liner Mullis. He was preceded in death by his son, Gerald Lamar Mullis.
He retired from the trucking industry after 40 years of service. Ron joined the staff of Heritage Funeral Home where he helped bring comfort to many families through- out the North Georgia area.  His kind words and ever present smile was just a couple of his qualities. He loved to laugh and would bring a smile to your face.
Ron loved fishing, watching Atlanta Braves Baseball and NASCAR.  In his younger years he loved fast cars and drag racing.
Survivors are his loving daughters Lisa Arnold of Rossville and Lynn Smith of Ringgold; sister Jana Carlton of Rock Spring; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
A celebration of Ron’s life will be held 2 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mike Sims and Rev. Bridget Waddell officiating.
