John “Ronnie” Black, 67 of Ringgold passed away Thursday August 24, 2017. Ronnie was born in Chattanooga, TN on December 15, 1949 and graduated from Brainerd High School in 1968. He had lived in Ringgold for the past 38 years. He worked at Chattanooga Armature Works before owning Ronnie Black Land Improvement and Dixie Dream Rods in Ringgold. Ronnie was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Cassie Black.
Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years, Janet Black; daughters, Christie (Greg) Scott, Ringgold and Beth (Kevin) Hopkins, Chattanooga; sister, Trisha Black; brother, Gary Black, Chattanooga; grandsons, Cody and Cameron Sherlin; and beloved companion, Cokie Cola Black.

Funeral Services will be 2 PM Monday at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Dr. Courtney Krueger.
