Zach Chambless, 89, Chickamauga, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, June 22, 2018 at his residence.
He was born in Cedar Bluff and was raised in Centre Alabama. Mr. Chambless has lived most of his life in the North Georgia area. He was retired from DuPont in Chattanooga after many years of service.
Zach was a member of Burning Bush Baptist Church where he had served as deacon.
Mr. Chambless was preceded in death by his parents, 8 brothers and 2 sisters, two sons Sherrill and Marty Roberts.
Survivors are his loving wife of 21 years Una Roberts Chambless, two daughters Sherry (Howard ) Massey from Wildwood, GA and Colleen ( Richard ) Hullender of Tunnel Hill, three grandsons Lee Massey, Jason Puryear and Derek Roberts. 3 great- granddaughters Haley, Phoebe and Isis.
Funeral services will be 11:30 Monday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dennis McNulty, Colin Crosen and Clarence Smith officiating.

Pallbearers will be Lee Massey, Jason Puryear, Randy Garner, Harold Morrow, Jeremy Catlett and Ron Taylor
Honorary Pallbearers will be The Gleaners Sunday School Class.
The family will receive friends from 1-5 p.m. Sunday and 9:30 till 11:30 a.m. Monday at Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
