Wendy Rae Barclay Waldrop of Ringgold died on February 11th at her family’s cabin in Blue Ridge. She is survived by her husband William Wayne Waldrop, her son William Reed Waldrop, her mother Betsy Barclay Reed, all of Ringgold; nieces Madison Raine Barclay, Kendall Marie Barclay of Mt. Airy, GA; a nephew McCrae Barclay of Franklin, TN.

Wendy attended Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church where she was a member of the Young Adult Sunday School class. She was active in the women’s ministry and Women of Joy. She was employed by the Wood Station Elementary School as a ParaPro. With her huge loving heart, she enriched the lives of everyone she met.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mark Shaw and Mike Kirby officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday 2-7 at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
