Wayne Edward Wells

Wayne Wells went to his forever home with his Lord and Savior on February 7, 2019, at his home in Ringgold.

Wayne was the son of the late Raymond and Addie Lee Wells, he was also preceded in death by his only brother, Raymond V. Wells Jr. and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Melvin and Lucille Cowart.

He was a member of Mission Glen Baptist Church and Mountain City Corvette Association and was a retired machinist of US Pipe and part-time tow truck driver for Alvin Worley and Sons.

His passions in life were his daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, spending family vacations at the beach and hanging out with his beloved corvette family. He will be remembered by his quick wit and sense of humor by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Jo Ann Wells, daughters, Diane Steele (Dan Elkins) Woodstock, Ga., Kim James (Phil) Spring Hill, Tn, Grandson, Justin Salter (Jamie), children Claire and Ingrid, Knoxville, Tn, Grandaughters, Brandye Sitton (Eric), children Jackson and Braden, Winchester, Va., Summer James (Grant Martin), children, Natalie, Emma, Reese and baby boy, Brentwood, Tn. Also survived by sister-in-law, Joyce Wells and niece Cindy Wengert, nephews, Vic and Steve Wells.

Funeral services will be held 10 AM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Steve Wells officiating.
