Warren "Lynn" Howell

Major Warren Lynn Howell, 75, of Chattanooga died peacefully on December 29, 2018 in Chattanooga TN.  

W Lynn Howell was born in Chattanooga TN to Ralph B and Lena Mae Howell.  He is survived by his brother and sister; Larry (Barbara) Howell and Faye (Earnest) Edwards; children; Justin (Heather) D Howell and Kelly M McGee; his grandchildren, Katie (Corey Bandy), Conner and Emma Howell.

Lynn served in the US military for 30 years, in The Navy, Navy Reserve and Air Guard. He attended primary school in Ringgold GA, and college at Mississippi State University.

He was a deacon and member of the Primitive Baptist church, a den leader of the Scouts in Warner Robins GA, a contributing member of the Ruritan in Rome GA.  

Services will be held at Heritage Funeral Home, Ft Oglethorpe, GA on Wednesday, January 2, at 10:00 am and officiated by Elder Wayne Peters and Elder Andrew Huffman.  He will be laid to rest next to his late wife Laura Davis Howell in Rome GA at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens 2:00 pm with a prayer led by Elder Joe Hayes.
