Wanda Sue Peters

Wanda Peters, 88, of Rossville, went to sleep in Jesus Monday July 11, 2022. She was born January 18, 1934 to the late James and Grace Harris. Wanda was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area. She was of the Baptist faith, and retired from K-Mart in East Ridge after 25 years of service. She was an avid reader and lived for her grandkids. Wanda loved family gatherings and sitting on the front porch. She was known by everyone for her kindness and sweet nature.

Wanda was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, John Peters, brother Jimmy Harris, and granddaughter Rachel Gamble.

Survivors include daughters Linda (John Paul) Greene, Susan (Mike) Gamble and Lori (Rich) Oliver, sister-in-law Margaret Harris, and grandchildren Evan (Haley) Greene and Robyn (Brandon) Carter.

A celebration of life will be held 1 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Brother Wayne Peters officiating. Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
