Walt Daniel Clayborn, Sr.

Walter “Walt” Daniel Clayborn, Sr., 86, of East Ridge passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022 at his home. He had lived in the Chattanooga area for the past 70 years and was owner/operator of Chattanooga Ambulance Service for 26 years. Walt was a loving father, grandfather, husband and friend. Walt was loved by everyone who knew him and had an outstanding sense of humor.
 
He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Clayborn.
 
Survivors include his loving wife, Brenda Clayborn; sons, Danny Clayborn; daughters, Crystal Carrell, Susan Lynn Lawson and Brittany Silvers; along with numerous grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
 
Funeral services will be 1 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Phil Sumrall officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
