Vivian Dobbs Hughes

Vivian Dobbs Hughes, 90, of Fort Oglethorpe passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2020. She was born on March 20, 1929 to the late Thomas and Gartha Dobbs. She was retired from Bell South Telephone Company and a member of Boynton Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Loyd Hughes; brother, Joel Mayberry Dobbs and sister, Margaret Elizabeth Massey.

Survivors include her son, Terry Hughes and daughter-in-law, Teresa Hughes; grandchildren, Louisa Long and Heather Hughes; great-grandchildren, Ethan Byrd, Zachary Hayes, William Hayes and Abagail Hayes.

Funeral services will be 12:30 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Keith McLeod officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
