Una H. Chambless

Una H. Chambless, 95, of Chickamauga, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday March 25, 2020 at Rosewood Assisted Living. Una has lived in North Georgia for the past 75 years. She was the oldest living member of Burning Bush Baptist Church, and a member of the Gleanis Sunday School class. Una retired from food service at Boynton Elementary School in 1997.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Gilbert Roberts and second husband Zach Chambless, sons Sherrill Roberts and Marty Roberts, three brothers, and one sister.

Una is survived by her daughters Sherry (Howard) Massey of Trenton, GA and Colleen (Richard) Hullender of Tunnel Hill, sister Artie Stubblefield of Ringgold, grandsons Lee Massey, Jason Puryear, and Derek (Debbie) Roberts, and great-granddaughters Haley, Phoebe, and Isis.

A special thank you to Hearth Hospice and Rosewood Memory Care staff for all their loving care.

A private graveside service will be held Saturday. Pall bearers will be Lee Massey, Jason Puryear, Jeremy Catlett, Randy Garner, Harold Morrow, and Josh Morrow.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
