Troy L. Turner

Troy L. Turner, 76, of Ringgold passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018. Born April 27, 1941 in Morganton, GA, Troy was the son of the late Wilford and Medley Davenport Turner. He has lived in the Chattanooga/North Georgia area for the past 57 years and was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Choir Director. Troy retired from Flowers Bakery after 42 years of service as a sales manager.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Evelyn Turner and granddaughter, Amber Gitgood.

Survivors include his son, Brian (Gayla) Turner, Ringgold; daughter, Karen (Adam) Lyman, Acworth; brother, Frank (Barbara) Turner, Blue Ridge, GA; grandchildren, Abby Huskey, Tyler and Mackenzie Lyman and Jason Huskey.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with  Rev. Randy Chesnutt officiating. 

Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
