I cannot remember a time in my life when Mark and Tressie were not there. Having been reared in the Ft. Oglethorpe First Baptist Church, I was surrounded by a group of loving people and Mark and Tressie were two of the many. Their love and support for me as a young boy , then a young man was something I could always count on. Tressie and my mom had been very close friends for all of their times at that church, as had Mark and my dad. The earth is a less lovely place due to the loss of Tressie but one day we shall see them again and celebrate having been friends. So sorry for the loss of the family.

I met Tressie and Mark as a teenager on joining First Baptist Church of Ft. Oglethorpe. It is hard to think of one without the other. In time, my husband became admirers of and a friend of theirs as well. Then and throughout their lifetime they were beautiful Christian role models for any of their peers and younger. Dedicated Christians, they held numerous positions at the Church to make it a wonderful place to worship. Tressie's "love for life" personality, her easy laugh, her beautiful red hair always in place, dressed impeccably from head to toe, made her a joy to be around. She showed a quiet spiritual strength during the tough times of losing their first baby, and beyond. Her life was a Christian testimony for all of us; a lovely light has gone out on this planet, but Heaven is a brighter place as she is reunited with her life long love. Please know of our deepest sympathy to Jeff, Michelle, Patrice and extended family. Our hearts ache with you. Bryan and Margaret
