Born March 14, 1960, Timothy R. Wooten left this earth December 26, 2020. With love and determination in his heart, Tim spent his last Christmas Day with his family; life partner, Donna Echols; Travis and Tiffany Wooten (son & wife) and his beloved grandchildren Chloe and Skyla Wooten. Tim was preceded in death by his parents Clifton and Barbara Jean Wooten, and brother Michael Wooten.
His siblings Lamar (Suzy) Wooten, Gail (Blaine) Helton, and David (Laura) Wooten, as well as his lifelong best friend Michael Foster knew him as “Timmy”.
Tim was a proud Air Force Veteran, and the Wooten family and friends gratefully thank him for his service. Tim was employed by Fesco of Chattanooga as a Master Technician, and we will all remember his motto, “I fix it like I own it.”
In lieu of flowers, it was Tim’s wish for memorial contributions to be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
Visit www.hertiagebattlefield.com to view the memorial tribute and share words of comfort with the family.
Services will be held 10 AM Tuesday at Chattanooga National Cemetery
Tim loved to be on the water; anywhere from the salt water of Biscayne Bay to the fresh water of the Tennessee River Gorge. Tim spent many hours on the water with the family and friends he loved. Rough seas make a great captain. Tim, the rough seas are behind now. May you have an eternity of smooth waters, captain.
