Terrye Lynn Farr

My best friend Terrye Lynn Farr, 62, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, March 9, 2019. Terrye was born at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida May 18, 1956. She has been a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area her whole life. The only thing she loved more than dogs or the sunshine was her family, especially her granddaughters.

She is preceded in death by her father, Edward Orlander Churchwell.

Survivors include her loving husband of 44 years, George Farr; son, Nick (Carol) Farr; mother, Betty-Jean Churchwell; brother, Mike Churchwell; sister, Lisa Cummings; grandchildren, Madison, Emily and Isabell; sister in law, Debra (Tim) Mayer; brother in law, Tommy (Adena) Farr; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM, Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wayne Cook officiating. Interment will be at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Walker County Animal Shelter.
