Sunaun Rucks, 66, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018, in Dayton, Ohio. She was of Christian faith.

She was married to Floyd Ray Rucks for 44 years. They were inseperable from the time they met and fell in love when he was stationed in Thailand during the Vietnam War.

Sunaun retired from the workforce in 2004. She was known for helping others and always looked for an opportunity to meet new friends. She loved to cook and share recipes with friends and family. She had many unique Thai recipes that everyone enjoyed. She loved to travel and visit sites throughout America and shared many vacations with friends and family. One of her favorite vacation spots was Branson, Missouri, where she always made a side trip to Carthage, Missouri to visit the Precious Moments Museum, Park and Chapel.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Ray Rucks, family members in the United States and Thailand, including a host of in-laws, nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Ray extends a special thanks to the wonderful and supportive neighbors and golfing friends in the Dayton, Ohio region.

The funeral service will be in the funeral home chapel at noon on Saturday, March 3, 2018, with Rev. Terry Harris, pastor of The Crossing Church, officiating.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 from 5-7 PM at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
