Sonya Lynn Newman Dedenbach

Sonya Lynn Newman Dedenbach, 47, of Ringgold passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021. She was a life-long resident of the Chattanooga/North Georgia area. She had been employed with her Mohawk family in Dalton for 15 years. Sonya was a good wife and loving mother and was a friend to anyone that she came across. She loved to cook for her family, friends and even strangers in need. She was also known to her family and friends as Sassy!

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Willie Mae Newman.

Survivors include her loving husband of 27 years, Jonathan Dedenbach; sons, Jacob and Titus Newman; her other mother, Bonita Dedenbach; brothers, James, David and Gary Newman; sister, Mary Ann Newman; nephews, James “Hoot” Newman and Garry Lovelady; and several other nieces and nephews.
