Jeffrey Scott Lybrand, 56, of Rossville, went home to be with the Lord Friday, August 28, 2020. He was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and a member of Metropolitan Tabernacle. Scott owned and operated Lybrand Appraisal Firm for over 30 years, and had served as a volunteer firefighter with the City of Fort Oglethorpe Fire Department. Scott loved metal detecting, golfing, fishing, and being at the beach. He adored his grandchildren.
Scott was preceded in death by his father Melvis Lybrand.
Survivors include his wife of 7 ½ years, Sharon McWhorter Lybrand, mother Charlotte Lusk, daughters Lauren (Seth) Sparks of Rossville and Nicole Lybrand of Rock Spring, step-daughter Morgan Long of Rossville, step-son Joshua (Tiffany) Long of Rossville, brother Steve (Connie) Lybrand of Rossville, grandchildren Tinley Sparks, Taylan Sparks, and Jackson Long. Several cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be held 12:30 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Steve Ball officiating. Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
