Russell E. Sirmans

Russell E. Sirmans, 83, of Ringgold, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, January 7, 2021. He was born April 8, 1937 in Lakeland, GA to the late Kermit Sirmans and Jewel Cannington Sirmans. Russell served in the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant Commander. He loved to travel and adored his four grandchildren.
 
Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Betty Sirmans, daughters Paige (Greg) Laminack and Joanne (Sean) Gallagher, brothers Elliott Sirmans and Jack Sirmans, sisters Mildred Koscianski and Jean Herrin, and grandchildren Ryan Laminack, Erika Laminack, Reece Gallagher, and Darby Gallagher.
 
A celebration of life will be held on Russell’s birthday in April.
