Robert “Bobby” Eugene Bridges 82, of Ringgold went home to be with the Lord, Monday, May 29, 2017.  He was a lifelong resident of Ringgold.  Mr. Bridges was a son of the late C.J. and Lottie Martin Bridges and was retired from Dixie Yarn after 49 years of service.  Bobby was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and assistant choir director. 

Survivors are his loving wife of 64 years Beatrice Pierce Bridges;  daughters Marcella (Butch) Hullander ; Charlotte (David) Gilreath  and Vicki Eugenia (Keith) Summerfield  son Dana (Dedra)  Bridges,  all of Ringgold; grandchildren, Larry Sullivan, Jerry (Brandy) Hullander, Heather (Robby) Asbill, Jerod Gilreath, Victoria (Stephen) Garner, Summer (Chris) Dockery, Brent Bridges, and Mikayla (Riley) Taylor, and great-grandchildren, Kyle, Gunter, Charlie Hullander, Riley, Brennen Asbill, Damon , Daisy , Drake, Derrick Dockery, Abby Garner, and Reece Garner

Funeral services will be 2 PM, Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sam Dillard officiating.  Interment will be in New Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
