Rita Pauline Hensley

Rita Pauline Hensley, 90, of Ringgold went home to be with the Lord Thursday, September 2, 2021. Rita was born May 24, 1931 in Madisonville, TN to the late William Howard and Ruby Hicks Best. She was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia/ Tennessee area and member of New Haven Baptist Church. She loved sewing in her spare time. Rita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her precious family. 

She is preceded by her loving husband of 69 years, Edward William Hensley.

Survivors include her son, Rick (Pamela) Hensley; daughters, Judy (Johnny) Lyons and Kathy Mullins; siblings, Glenn and Bobby Best; 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be 10 AM, Monday at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Donnie Scarbro officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Haven Baptist Church on Graysville Rd. East Brainerd, TN.
