Raymond Howard Roach

Raymond Howard Roach, 78, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 23, 2018 with his family by his side. All those that knew him remember his outgoing personality and love for his family. Mr. Roach was a retired truck driver working for companies such as Chattanooga Glass, Astec and James Wilson Construction before retiring a few years ago. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Lucille Roach; son in law, Mark Jacobs; brothers, Jerry Roach and Tim Roach.

Survivors are his loving wife of 54 years Joyce Roach; daughters, Coni Jacobs, Rossville, Kelly (Tim) Keith, Harrison, Sammy (Brent) Hanshaw, Rossville; sisters, Frances Powell, Chickamauga, and Donna Camp, Trion; brothers, Jack Roach, Chickamauga, Steve Roach, Hixson; grandchildren, Sydney (Adam) Slaven, Rachel (Justin) Sanford, Westley (Ashley) Lewis, Tyler Harden and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Thursday, in funeral home chapel with Rev. Matt Hall officiating. Interment will be at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.

Memorial contributions may be made to Homestead Hospice in Dalton, GA or St. Jude Hospital.

Visitation will be 2-8 PM Wednesday at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory.
