Peggy Jo Gainer

Peggy Jo Gainer, 91, of Ringgold went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 17, 2022. She was born in Rossville, Georgia on December 25, 1930. She was a member of the Ringgold Church of Christ and was retired from Travelers Insurance. Peggy enjoyed golfing, bowling and always had a good time playing her special card game.

She was preceded in death by her son, Barry Gainer.

Survivors include her loving husband of 28 years, Jim Gainer; daughter, Sherry Hendricks; grandchildren, Jeremy (Jill) Gainer, Matthew (Stephanie) Gainer, Cody (Amber) Sturdivan and Nikki Sturdivan; great-grandchildren, Cooper and Emily; niece, Diane (Ronnie) Fulton and great-nieces, Jennifer (Jason) Bell and Angie (Kevin) Henry; great-great nephews, Carter, Cooper and Maddox; along with her great-great niece, Addison.

A graveside service will be held at 3 PM on Thursday, April 21 at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with Ministers Mike Lusk and Mike Gurganus officiating.
