Patsy "Pat" Louise (Browner) Greenway

Patsy “Pat” Louise Browner Greenway, 84, went home to be with the Lord on June 27, 2021. She is now reunited with her husband of 66 years, Frank Greenway. She was a devoted and adored wife, mother, and “Mommaw” and will be greatly missed.

Pat was truly a Proverbs 31 woman. She worked in the home raising three children before she began her career. Mrs. Greenway retired from the United States Post Office after 33 years of service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lakeview and loved her Esther Sunday School Class.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Coleman Browner and Pauline Browner Dempsey; brothers, Harold Browner and Bobby Browner; brothers-in-law, Clyde Greenway and Marvin Greenway; and sisters-in-law, Potsy Siniard, Bernice Cox, and Evelyn Cooper. 

She is survived by her children, Gary (Sherry) Greenway, Guy Greenway, and Paula (Keith) Longley; grandchildren, Hunter and Hayden Longley, Julie (Kris) Kitzke, and Kristina Greenway; three great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Fred (Lois) Greenway, Carl (Eleanor) Greenway, and Larry (Julia) Greenway; sisters-in-law, Juanita (Ovell) Nation, Phyllis (Dale) Collins, and Pam (Johnny) Godfrey; and several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Friday, July 2, 2021, from 10:00 - 11:30 at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 2, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Patrick Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Todd Browner, Gene Jennings, Hayden Longley, Hunter Longley, Harold Siniard, and Stacey Siniard.
