Nell Evans Smith

Nell Evans Smith, 92, of Ringgold passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at her home. She was a life-long resident of the North Georgia area and a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Oglethorpe. Mrs. Smith enjoyed painting and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Smith; parents, Frank and Gladys Evans; brother, Charles Evans and sister, Mary Frances Romain.

Survivors include her sons, Ken (Meg) Smith and Charles Smith; brother, LeBron Evans; grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Megan Steele, Vivina Gray and Charles Smith II; six great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 3-6 PM Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
