Butch was the best neighbor I have ever had. When I worked till 1am, Butch would be sitting on his front steps when I got home and made sure I got in safely. I couldn't see him in the dark, but I would call out "Night Butch". He mowed my yard for years. But my favorite is when he came to my birthday party. He came in, sat down, got a piece of cake and turned to my friend, who was standing up, and said, "Get me a cup of coffee." She didn't know who he was, but she got him coffee. He will be missed.
