Monroe “Butch” Wilson Harrington, 75, of Ringgold, GA went home to be with the Lord Thursday October 12, 2017. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church for 49 years and most recently, a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Butch cherished his friendships, loved hunting, fishing, playing softball and baseball, and coaching his son’s little league baseball teams.

Butch was preceded in death by his Parents, John Wyatt and Bessie Elliot Harrington, Son, Gregory Alan Harrington, and Brother, James Albert Harrington.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Linda Hodges Harrington, son Richie Wade (M’Liss) Harrington, daughter Donna (Jason) Worthington, brother John Will Harrington of Opelika, AL, grandchildren Ian (Jodi) Beck, Amanda Louise Harrington, Gregory Scott Meek, Randall Gavin Meek, Sarah Elizabeth Worthington, and great grandchildren Selah Joy Beck, Mercy Anne Beck, and Keziah Ruth Beck.

Services will be Saturday October 14, 2017 at 3 PM EST at Beulah Baptist Church in Valley, AL with Reverend Doug Blackmon officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers include Gregory Meek, Mike Cofield, Randyl Ann Cofield, Chance Cofield, Dwain Holt, and Mickey Harrington.

Interment will be at the church cemetery following the service.
