Minnie (Broome) Meek

Minnie Meek, 91, passed away peacefully at her home on April 22, 2020 and went to be with her Lord in Heaven.  She was born in Summerville, Ga. and later moved to Ringgold, Ga. where she had lived for the past 72 years.

She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and also the Golden Agers at Parkway. 

Minnie is preceded in death by her parents Smith Jefferson Broome and Annie Kinsey Broome, brothers Henry Broome and Howard Broome, sisters Audrey Crowe and Mary Dooley.

She is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Samuel Meek, son Dennis (Susan) Meek, daughter Teresa (Jeff) Hensley, granddaughter Alison (Norm) Brewer, great-grandsons Harrison and Barrett Brewer, sisters Ann Bobo and Clara Dawson, and several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service for the family will be held at Anderson Memorial Gardens.  Due to the current healthcare crisis, a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
