Mike Farmer

Charles Michael Farmer, 60, of Ringgold, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, January 19, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  Mr. Farmer was a native of LaFayette and was a son of Charles Emory Farmer and the late Gloria Jean Davis Farmer.

Mike was retired from Shaw Industries as a Truck Driver for 38 years and owned Mike’s Lawn Care Service for 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his mother Gloria Jean Davis Farmer, sister Kathy Denise Farmer Fitzgerald, and brother-in-law Rickey Cope; grandparents. Special thanks to Linda Ware for choosing to give Mike life.

Survivors include his loving wife of 15 years, Donna Sparks Farmer, father Charles Emory Farmer, children, Stephanie (Daniel) Walker, and Jessica (Shane) Roberts, Dr. Robb Hutcherson, Jr. (Dr. Lora Hutcherson), Josh Hutcherson, brothers-in-law Johnny Young, Johnny (Karen) Cope, and John Wayne (Cindy) Sparks, sister, Pamela (Benny) Fitzgerald, sisters-in-law Debbie (Jimmy) Dickerson and Gail Kilgore; grandchildren, Briley, Presley Rose, Emerson, John Robert, Jesse Michael, Malachi, Rhett, Jaxon, Ridley, and Millie June; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jim Chasteen and Bro. Bradley Battles officiating.
