Michael Wayne Gipson Jr.

Michael Wayne Gipson Jr., 47, of Dalton passed away at home surrounded by family Monday, August 8, 2022. Michael was born December 24, 1974 in Chattanooga, TN to Michael Gipson Sr. and Debbie Plank Gipson. He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga/ North Georgia Area. He enjoyed the Tennessee Vols, Nascar Racing and playing foosball. More than anything he loved spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Wayne Gipson Sr.; stepmother, Vickie Gipson; grandparents, David (Peggy) Gipson; grandmother, Lucille Hunley and Dimple Westmoreland.

Survivors include son, Gage Gipson; mother, Debbie (Dan) Plank Gipson; siblings, Stacey (Lee) Johnson, Kelly Allen (Steven Lovelady), LeAnn (Michael) Minor, Rachel (Shannon) Cassell, Chase Gipson, Rodney (Christy) Westmoreland; nieces and nephews, Morgan, Garrett, Daniel, Steven, Jocelyn, Lance, David "D.J.", Todd, Brianna, Brent and Alexandria.
