Michael Dennis Boyd

Michael Dennis Boyd, 67, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Robert and Goldie Burkhart Boyd. Michael has been a resident of the North Georgia area for 43 years. He worked over 25 years at Phillip Van Heusen, was a Rossville volunteer firefighter, and achieved firefighter of the year in 1984. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Goldie Boyd; and his loving wife Mary Susan Boyd.

Survivors include his daughters, Barbara (Lyn) Michelle Pemberton, Tammy Joe Howard, and Dawn “Denise” (Michael) Wright; son, Christopher Michael Boyd; brothers, Martin Hickey, Gary Boyd, and James Robert Boyd; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held at a later date.
