Meg Smith

Mary “Meg” Elizabeth Smith, 69, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 7, 2020. She lived in the Midwest, but returned to North Georgia after retirement. Meg was of the Methodist faith, and was a member of Newnan Springs UMC. She loved spending time with her family, and enjoyed painting.

Meg is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Kenneth Smith, daughter Megan (Levi) Steele of Neosho, MO, son Chris (Misty) Smith of Dallas, TX, sisters Elaine Wyrick of Fort Oglethorpe and Jimmie Harris of Ooltewah, and grandchildren Kaleigh, Riley, Cadee, Mackenzie, and Alexa. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Friday at Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
