Tribute

Mary Jo Clark of Chattanooga passed away on November 27, 2019.  She was of Christian faith.  Mary was born on May 11, 1942, in Fyffe, AL.  She spent most of her youth in the Rossville, GA, area.  She met and married the love of her life, Grady Clark, in 1966.  Soon after they were married, they moved to Hialeah, FL, where she managed an apartment complex.  They returned to the Chattanooga area in 1993.  Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Lessie Rucks, her husband, Grady Clark, her sister, Judy Ann Rucks, and her sister-in-law, Sunaun Rucks.

Mary is survived by sisters Ruby Reed (her twin) and her husband Ernest, Glenda Rucks, Clara Orlando and her husband Dr. Louis, Martha Scarbrough and her husband Sam; brothers Roy Rucks and his wife Marcia, John Rucks and his wife Ellen,  Ray Rucks; nine nieces and nephews; nine great nieces and nephews and two great-great-nephews.

Visitation will be at the Heritage Funeral Home, 3239 Battlefield Parkway, Fort Oglethorpe, GA, on Tuesday, December 3, from 6 - 8 PM.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday, December 4 in the funeral home chapel with TJ Tallent, a senior pastor at The Ridge Church, officiating.  Burial will be at Lakewood Memory Gardens South immediately following the service.
