Mary Frances Neal Thomas

Mary Frances Neal Thomas, 85, of Fort Oglethorpe passed away Monday, August 8th, 2022. Mary was born September 7, 1936 in Ringgold to the late William Arthur Teems Sr. and Gladys Irene Teems. She was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia Area, member of Parkway Baptist Church and attended Temple Baptist Church. She worked at H&L Dry Cleaners for many years. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, gardening and cooking. More than anything Mary loved to take care of her family and spend time with them.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Felton Max Neal; son in law, Thomas Gordy; brother, William Arthur Teems Jr. and his wife Anna Mae.

Survivors include her children, Vickie Gordy and Greg (Karey) Neal; grandchildren, Charles Derrick (Sonya Mangrum) Ramsey and Jessica Neal Hall; great-grandchildren, Teagan Cole Ramsey; Nieces, Melinda (Cliff) Hellard and Anita (Rick) Steele.

Graveside services will be 12:30 PM, Monday at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South with Pastor Bill Gardner officiating.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff with Amedysis Hospice for their loving care.
