Mary Joyce Oliver

Mary Joyce Oliver, 88, of Flintstone went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at her home. She was born on November 26, 1933 to the late Frank and Pearl Hixon. Mrs. Oliver was a member of Lookout Baptist Church and was retired from Wal-Mart after several years of service.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Charles Vernon Oliver.

Survivors include her daughters, Melody (Bradley) Broome and Darlene (Horace) Knight; sister, Elsa Bell; grandchildren, Melissa (Andrew) Knight, Tiffany (Kyle) Schoenleber and Terah (Ben) Curry; and great-grandchildren, Lilyanne, Hattie and Darcy Schoenleber, Branson and Ellington Curry.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ronnie Fleming officiating. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
