Mary Magdalene Miller, 81, of Ringgold, Ga. Passed away peacefully April 30, 2020 at her daughter's home. Today she received her dancing shoes so she could strut down the streets of gold with the Lord and his angels.
Mary was born in Chattanooga, TN., but was a longtime resident of Chickamauga, Ga. And was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker who loved her family, friends, and fur babies. She enjoyed watching her grandkids as well as other children in the neighborhood. Caring for others was her way of expressing her favorite Bible verses, Ephesians 4:32- "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you" and 1 Corinthians 13:13 KJV, “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity”. She lived her life showing love the best way she knew how.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Miller Jr., four brothers David Ferris, Junior, Carl and Billy Bice: also two sisters Betty Rainey and Patricia Gaddis.
Survivors include her three sons, Johnny, Joey, and James Miller; and two daughters Barbara Baggett and Sandra Spivey; one sister Audrey Robinson; also several grandchildren, great children, several nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service celebrating and honoring the life of Mary Miller will take place Wednesday, June 3, at 2 PM, in the funeral home chapel with Brother Danny Henson officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
