Marshall Lee Bailey, of Harrison, TN born July 31, 1945 passed away at his home on February 26, 2019.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Martin L. (Bill) and Martha Bailey; brother, Martin H. Bailey and his wife Bobbye; and sister, Marion Howard.
Marshall is survived by his wife of 38 years, Ruth Bailey; daughter, LeAnn and Scott Payne, grandchildren, Jarrod and Katie Payne, Jordan and Haley Byrge, Savannah Payne, and Joshua Payne. Brothers, Mike and Linda Bailey, Melvin and Judy Bailey. Several nieces and nephews and his favorite dog, Annabelle.
Marshall graduated from Rossville High School, class of 1964. He joined the United States Air Force and proudly served during the Vietnam war. Upon returning home he became an apprentice pipefitter and enjoyed a very successful career. He recently retired from Acme Industrial Piping as their Safety Director.
Marshall has been a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 43 for over 46 years. During these years, he served the union in many capacities including Apprentice Instructor, Executive Board Member, Vice-President, and 15 years as President.
Marshall was also a member of the Lakeview Ft. Oglethorpe Jaycees, Thompkins Masonic Lodge #466, and the Alhambra Shrine.

On Friday, March 1st a graveside service will be held at 10 AM at Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. til 6 p.m. at the funeral home. A celebration of life will follow at 6:30 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
