Lucinda "Cindy" Burgess

Lucinda “Cindy” Mae Burgess, 64, of Rossville went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 13, 2019. She was a devout Christian and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. Lucinda was very fond of her neighborhood friends, and she loved her family, especially family dinners. Cindy was a prayer warrior.

She is survived by her husband Isaac “Ike” Burgess, brothers Gary (Dorlene) Harris of Ringgold, Don (Jennifer) Harris of Ringgold, and Robert (Diane) Smith of Roseburg, OR, sisters Sharon Marie Whalen of Tuscumbia, AL, Sharon Raye Stark of Chattanooga, and Alice (Derwin) Goins of Rossville, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life service will be held 2 PM Saturday March 23rd at Church of God of Prophecy, 110 Cherry St. Rossville, GA.
