Mary Louise Fletcher, 93, of Fort Oglethorpe went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 12, 2018. She was a life-long resident of North Georgia and a graduate of Ringgold High School Class of 1942. She was a charter member at First Baptist Church Fort Oglethorpe where she had taught the first grade Sunday School Class for many years, taught the children’s choir and sang in the adult choir. Miss Fletcher was employed by Red Cross in Fort Oglethorpe and worked at EPB Chattanooga for over 40 years. She loved her family and had a servant’s heart.
She is preceded in death by her father, Mark Fletcher, and her parents, Arvil and Lillian Pierce; and brothers, Mark Fletcher and Raymond Beasley.
Survivors include her sister, Robbie Jo Fletcher; brothers, Ronald Pierce and Harold Pierce; nieces and nephews; Melanie (Darvin) Poole, Patrice (Hank) Humphrey, Julie (Jeff) Wright, Bryan (Susie) Pierce, D. Brent Pierce, Jeff (Michelle) Fletcher, Lisa (Ken) Laughon, Teresa (Scott) Collison and Robbie Louise (Mike) Leonard; along with many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jason Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
