Liz Castleberry

Anne Elizabeth “Liz” Castleberry, 91, of Rossville passed away Friday, October 29, 2021. Liz was born May 19, 1930 in Chattanooga, TN to the late R.N. and Linda Mabes Roach.  She was a lifelong member of the North Georgia area and member of Lakeview 1st Baptist Church. She was a self employed beautician who owned Elizabeth Anne’s Beauty Shop. Liz was a beloved great-grandmother, grandmother, mother, sister and friend. The only thing she loved more than anything else was spending time with her family and cooking for them.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Bill Castleberry; siblings, J.B. Roach and Betty Atkins.

Survivors include her sons, Billy (Karen) Castleberry, Rick (Rhonda) Castleberry and Pat (Terri) Castleberry; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; brother in laws, Carl Castleberry and Jack Harp; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be 11 AM, Thursday at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Patrick Cooper officiating.
