Leon Key

Leon Key, 89, of Ringgold went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at his home. He was born on January 30, 1932 in Grant, Alabama and was of the Christian faith. Mr. Key retired from Combustion Engineering as Vice President. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Jo Key; eight siblings and his grandson, Rick Leach.

Survivors include his son, Douglas Key; daughter, Darlene Leach; brothers, Clinton Key and Rayford Key; sisters, Faye Hill, Laura Gibson and Geraldine Jimerson; grandchildren, Jason Key, Johnny Key, Jay Leach and Solomon Key, Chrissy Pellom, Joanna Lewis, Joi Key, Jessi Banister, Josiah Key and Josh Pellom; great-grandchildren, Alex Key, Trinity Key, Kylie Pellom, Alice Key, Ava Key, Eleanor Lewis, Jackson Key, Abby Leach, Noah Leach and Eden Lewis; great-great grandchildren, Alora Key; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM EST at Panquin Cemetery in Grant, Alabama.
