Larry Wayne Williams, 71, of Flintstone, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 28, 2019. Born December 1, 1947, he was a son of the late Earl and Juanita Scalf Williams. Larry was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and attended Rossville Church of God. He was a retired truck driver. Larry enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and spending time at his cabin. He loved spending time with his family.
Larry was preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years, Joyce Williams, brothers Johnny Williams and Gerald (Stalk) Williams, and brothers-in-law Jack Parker and Wayne Franklin.
He is survived by sons Kelly (Gayla) Williams of Ringgold and Jeff (Erica) Williams of Flintstone, brother Mitchell Williams of Rossville, sisters Barbara Pendergrass, Patsy Parker, and Neva Franklin of Rossville, and Linda Hullender of Ringgold, grandchildren Phillip Williams, Blake Lovell, Nathan Williams, Garrett Williams, and Justin Williams, great-grandson Carson Williams, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Hunter Cummings officiating.
