Larry Dean Coker, 78, of Ringgold, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 29, 2021. He was born August 20, 1942 in Cullman, AL to the late Joseph and Nova Weems Coker. Larry has lived in Ringgold for the past 52 years and was of the Baptist faith. He had worked in the steel fabrication business and retired from Home Depot. Larry loved Alabama football and was an avid reader. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved his grandkids.
Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Crissie Coker, daughters Faye Coker of Ringgold and Shirley Hollingsworth (Waylon) of Rossville, sister Jimmie Smith of Hixson, TN, and grandchildren, Olivia Rose Coker and James and Bradley Hollingsworth.
Graveside services will be held 12 PM Saturday at Floyd Memory Gardens in Rome, GA with Rev. Roger Kennard officiating. Pall bearers will be Andrew Kennard, Waylon Hollingsworth, Brennan Crider, Michael Mims, Joel Coker, and Trey Souder.
