June A Rich

June A. Rich, 82, of Ringgold went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 9, 2022. She was born on April 11, 1939 in Ringgold, Georgia, where she lived for most of her life, to the late Clyde and Thelma Barton. She was a substitute teacher at Ringgold Elementary School for many years and was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Rich enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
 
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Barton and grandson, Travis Rich.
 
Survivors include her loving companion, Danny Whitmire; sons, Wayne (Kim) Rich and Jeff Rich; brother, Stanley Barton; sister, Wilma Harden; grandchildren, Tara Lancaster, Lindsey Pike Rich, Gabriel Rich, Miranda Rich, Amanda Sessions and Jay Rich; along with several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
 
A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Northwest Christian Fellowship in Varnell, GA.
