Judy Morton Eldridge, 83, of Chickamauga, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 15, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Netta Clark Morton. She was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and a member of the Chattanooga Valley Church of Christ. Mrs. Eldridge was a 1955 graduate of Rossville High School and had formerly worked at Happy Valley Farms, Selmon T. Franklin Architects, and was retired from Tennessee Valley Authority.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Raymond William Eldridge.
Survivors include son Scott (Heidi) Eldridge, daughters Robin Eldridge (Paul) Mattos and Peggy Eldridge (Kirk) Brown, aunt Ruth Massey, sister-in-law Freida Eldridge (Charles) Haney, grandchildren Keith, Scotty, Patrick, Clark, Colton, Chandler, and Anna, and eight great-grandchildren. Nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Michael Morton and Kirk Brown officiating. Pall bearers will be grandsons.
Interment in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
