Judith Rose (Davenport) Schermerhorn

Judith Rose Schermerhorn (nee Davenport), age 79, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2021. Predeceased by her parents, Kermit E and Gertrude E Davenport (nee Rose), she is survived by Eugene O. Schermerhorn, her husband of 52 years. She is also survived by her sister Jean Davenport, as well as her son Duane E. Schermerhorn (Jill) and granddaughter Neely Godfrey (Kenyon); son Paul Schermerhorn (Tara) and grandson Parker; and daughter Candace Gambrel (Pat) and grandchildren James Flores (Mugdha) and Alicia Street (Christopher).

Faithful servants to the Lord, Judy and Gene spent countless years teaching at Seventh-Day Adventist schools in several states. She set the example for those around her, living in the world but not of it.

Following Judy’s wishes, there will be a simple cremation and no funeral.
