Juanette Nelson

Juanette Nelson, 86, of Rossville went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday , November 3, 2021. She was a life-long resident of the Chattanooga/North Georgia area and was of the Christian faith. Ms. Nelson was a member of OES Miami FLA Chapter and she taught Nursing at Dalton State College.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Clara Prescott; daughter, Charlotte Chambers and twin sister, Janette Huff.

Survivors include her daughter, Patti (Chuck) Kountz; grandchildren, Neil (Haleigh) Garland, Cyle Garland, Ben Hougue, Ken Hougue and Jen Levoff; along with several great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be 2 PM Friday at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with Rev. Terry Coalbert officiating.
