Joyce Miller

Lena Joyce Miller, 75, of Flintstone went home to be with the Lord on Saturday March 27, 2021.  Joyce was born March 8, 1946 in Lafayette, GA to the late TJ and Laura Stoker.  She was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia Area and was a member of the Chattanooga Valley Church of Christ..   Mrs. Miller was retired from the Walker County School system with more than 15 years of service and was preceded in death by her husband Bruce Miller.  In her free time Joyce enjoyed gardening and spending time with friends and family.

Survivors are her loving sons Kevin ( Brooks ) Thompson of Flintstone, GA and Chad ( Joy ) Miller of Georgetown, TN, grandchildren Shelby ( Jake ) Butcher, Regan Thompson, Caroline Miller, Bailey and Tucker Miller and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Services will be conducted 11:30 am Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Reid Perry officiating.  Interment will be in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory,  Battlefield Parkway.
