Joseph W Johnson

Wesley Johnson, age 62 of Ringgold went to be with the Lord on Monday, August  20, 2018. Wesley was born February 27, 1956 to the late Joseph and Ruby Johnson. He graduated from Ringgold High and worked at Island Cove Marina for 17 years. He was a member of Church of the Nativity in Fort Oglethorpe and was a believer in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Wesley loved playing golf, building and flying model airplanes, and writing and singing songs on his guitar. Wesley is preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer, and his brother, Deward, and is survived by his son, Joseph Wesley Johnson Jr., his daughter, Nadia Elizabeth Johnson, three grandchildren, as well as his brother and sisters Barry Johnson, Linda Murphy, Janice Williams, and Angela Bandy.  Committal Service will be held Friday, Aug. 24 at 4:00pm at the Church of the Nativity, Fort Oglethorpe, with a visitation beforehand at 3:00pm.
